Fox's Pizza Den

New to Vicksburg, two locals referred us to this restaurant. Friday lunch time. Ordered a medium deluxe and a small cheese pizza. The deluxe had lots of fresh toppings. Granddaughter gave the cheese pizza a 10 out of 10. Self serve Pepsi products and tea. We prefer our crusts baked a little longer, however, the pizza was tasty. The seating was basic.

Great pizza. We got the taco pizza and it was really good. I would just recommend adding a side of marinara sauce, as it was a little dry. Fantastic crust. Edit; Just had the lemon cookie and it is phenomenal, highly recommend.

Came here to Mississippi to celebrate a birthday and decided to try out this place. Overall it’s very average. Pizza was cooked good and all but I’ve had better flavors from other places, at least it’s better than little ceasars or cicis. I did order the pickle sticks as an appetizer and I believe it was just a LTO and discovered it was not fried but bread with cheese and dill pickles on top. In my personal opinion, that’s a weird combo I was not expecting but to each their own of course ! I just wish there was a bit more transparency like a description of the appetizer on the menu etc. Other then that staff was great and service was fast, we did appreciate this nice place to eat a dinner together.

Quality has deteriorated significantly in the past few months. We don’t know what changed, but the past 3 visits have all resulted in much much longer wait times, and poorer quality food than they used to produce. On all 3 of our last visits the pizza wasn’t cooked long enough. Tonight I listened to the staff call for where my pizza was, then realized after I got home, they threw my toppings on top of an already cooked pepperoni and ran it back through the oven, but not long enough. None of the add-on toppings are even warm. Fox’s was a staple of busy weeknight meals for us for years. No more.

Not only is this the best pizza in town, but as a mom I have to brag on the cleanliness of the high chairs! Most restaurants never clean the high chairs and I have to take 10 minutes and deep clean it before we can sit down. But look at this, it is spotless! I’m beyond impressed!
