Frank's Trattoria (Hackettstown)

After YEARS of occasional take out and dine in, I ordered what was supposed to be a grilled chicken breast Alfredo entree served over angel hair with peas and broccoli. Instead, I got dry, hard, tiny bits of chicken in a very greasy and oily butter sauce. Lettuce in my salad was brown, cucumber was slimy, the tomato had two rot marks clearly shown placed on top of salad but was still sent out with my dinner. Even the bread was hard and dry. I called the restaurant to let them know right away. I spoke to the manager Nestor, he passed me on to someone else, she said my manager is very busy right now, he will call you back. (She was very apologetic and nice.) He did not bother calling me back so I called the next day, I told him I wanted to send pictures of everything I took from my dinner

This is the worst pizza we ever had. It was so bland. My husband ordered a soda and it tasted like dish water. I ordered a raspberry ice tea and the taste was soooo off and tasted like I was drinking pure sugar. They charged us $16.00 for 2 slices of pizza and drinks. Horrible! Will not come back, and was throughly annoyed at spending money on this crappy food.

Typical NJ pizza chain. Dinners were good. Go there frequently for chicken rolls which are better than average. Service is always friendly. Table service was a bit off, that's why only 3 stars on that.

ordered a lot of things to enjoy for Christmas Eve one year... the food was awful... I actually had to bring some of the back. that's how bad it was... and we all got sick... never went back there again

Just moved here, the garlic knot sliders are awesome. Definitely going to be a regular item for the shop.
