Great dinner tonight at Frazer's! We had the Brie appetizer, several cocktails, the pork schnitzel, and the flourless chocolate torte. Everything was truly fantastic! Particularly loved the "Devil in a Blue Dress" cocktail. The service was also great. Wish I got out waitresses name but she was a younger blonde gal and was so friendly and sweet, gave us great suggestions for our stay in St. Louis. Would love to eat here again some day!
High end but not. Fantastic food in an eclectic environment. The people watching here is the best… ball caps and sweatshirts in the bar, a bunch of teens in what looked like prom outfits, a very fancy couple on some sort of anniversary, sat next to an old guy in a (really nice) kilt. Everything we had was good. The drinks (particularly the smoked whiskey one) were phenomenal. I liked the dates and the steak medallion special and the key lime pie but you know I devoured the other stuff too. This is a true St Louis vibes restaurant. I can’t recommend it more.
Frazer’s is such a gem! From the moment we walked up, the warm lights and cozy outdoor patio set the perfect vibe. Inside, the atmosphere is eclectic and fun even had a mysterious cloaked figure wander by, which just added to the character of the place to deliver the drink “Who goes there!” The food was fantastic. The wrap was fresh and flavorful, the fries were crispy perfection, and the halibut dish with capers and cream sauce was absolutely delicious. Paired with a nice glass of wine, it made for a really memorable evening. The staff was welcoming, the space felt unique and inviting, and overall I just loved it. I’ll definitely be back!
Atmosphere was good. Service was good. Drinks were good. Food was hit and miss. Chicken with sun dried tomatoes was edible but more like hospital food, absolutely no taste so bland. Wished I had a salt shaker. Asparagus was tough. Sweet potato in corn tortilla was good, but rice and beans were not. Onion soup was good. Zucchini rolls, not. Food definitely should have been way better for the price.
My wife and I stopped in for an early dinner, not knowing anything about Frazer's other than they were down the street from where we were having a cocktail to kick off the weekend. I'm disappointed that I have lived in the area for so long without having experienced this absolute gem of a restaurant. We sat at the bar. The bar staff were extremely friendly and fantastic at making a drink. I had a whiskey sour and I have to say it was one of the best I've ever had. And the food -- my god the food! The zucchini rolls were tasty and just filling enough not to spoil our appetites. Which would've been a tragedy, because the entrees were indescribably delectable. I had the turkey avocado wrap. I've had others, but this one was on another level. My wife had the goat cheese salad, and I
