Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

I love the food and the custard. The service received 4 stars instead of 5 bc there wasn't one employee that had a smile on their face. It literally costs nothing to smile and say have a nice day. I will still be back.

"It's been a while since we visited, but it was good to be back. The grilled chicken sandwich was tasty, and the iced tea was excellent-really hit the spot. We were split on the onion rings; I thought they tasted a bit odd, but my wife thought they were exceptional. Overall, a solid meal."

Burger Fantastic as well as chicken sandwich was very good. But Check your drive-thru order. First - they forgot the drink. Got drink, parked and opened bag - no onion rings. I went inside to get them and the incompetent lady behind counter wanted me to go to the kitchen entrance and tell the cooks - WHAT? After another staff went and told kitchen I eventually got the onion rings.

Ordered a Double Bacon Cheese Burger and cheese curds and a chocolate malt. The cheese burger was so greasy the bottom bun disintegrated. You could also squeeze the grease out of the cheese curds. I couldn't even eat half of my food. The drink was also so chocolatey it was undrinkable. I honestly almost got a refund but they were busy and so was I and I dont live in JC.

We normally eat at the Freddy's in Morristown, TN, but had to make a trip to Johnson City, TN, and saw the Freddy's and thought it was a safe bet. Boy, were we wrong. We came in 45 minutes before they closed, and they acted like we were bothering them. The girl that took our order couldn't stay off her phone and forgot to give us our cups. After standing there for a few minutes, we finally had to flag someone down. Almost all of the tables were dirty, and the bathrooms hadn't been touched in a while. Our cheese curds and french fries were not even close to being full. I understand it was close to closing time, but for over $22.00 for two people, you would expect better, and for the record, we were out of there over 10 minutes before closing time.
