Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

Just ewww!! Got some Chilli Cheese fries & was not expecting the hair!! Was absolutely disappointed & disgusting!!🤮 But first the Cust service was a little off because I had to go in to get my own fork. Then later Nobody never answered the phone to take my complaint, the line stayed busy.. I just hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else & people should consider beard & hair nets around food!!

I have never written a review before, but after my experience here today, I knew it had to be the first thing I did when I got home. Freddy’s has always been my favorite restaurant— I would drive all the way to Saraland just to have a burger and some ice cream. However, the customer experience i was met with today is unmatched. A very lovely girl, Elizabeth, took my order. As someone who also works in the industry, her customer service voice is amazing and quite frankly— something to be very jealous of. As I pulled around to the window she continued to be the sweetest person I have ever met and even wrote sweet messages on my order. First time eating at Freddy's. Food was good. the driveway when entering is HORRIBLE and will scrape under your car bumper!!!! They need to get that leveled out a bit. I ate inside around 9pm and it was EXTREMELY bright, all those lights are not necessary, they would do just fine with half the lights. Also the volume of the speaker was wayyy to loud, every time the employee yelled an order out i jumped up. (He does not have to yell it out that's why there's a mic) It was way too much going on inside so i decided to eat outside only to findthe speaker and music to still be as loud, causing me to not really enjoy my meal :(

This was my first, and will be my last experience with this establishment. I placed an online order to be picked up. I do this to lessen the opportunities for a mistake to be made when they enter the order. I arrived and went through the drive thru to pick up. I was told they cannot give me my food unless I go inside the store. I did not realize when placing my order that I was forfeiting drive thru privileges. I was in my pajamas and slippers and had to enter the restaurant. I asked for my food and was handed a bag. I explained I had a drink as well and the employee pointed to a fridge with several drinks in it and told me to get it. I asked her to hand it to me. She seemed aggravated at my request. Staff is polite and food is usually good. I've had this several times now and it is pretty consistent. Burgers are always tasty, as are the fries and custard products. My only slight complaint is the cheese curds are salty. I've tried twice now and they are just too salty. They are still edible but I end up having to share them because I can't finish them because of it. I think I'll ask if they salt them when they come out and ask them not to. Either way it's a good option and I'd compare them to somewhere like Steak and Shake, Culver's, or Dairy Queen to give you an idea of the menu items.
