Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

SUPER SALTY burgers idk why??? They would be delicious if they weren’t so over salted. Went twice and both times the same. Unless it’s a corporate recipe? Fries are good and love their custards!

This was my first time visiting Freddy’s as a Bostonian native we don’t have this establishment there, but I arrived for lunch and Joy was the person who kindly took my order and provided me with helpful suggestions, I ordered the super meaty Prime Rib Sandwich on a Hawaiian Bun which I was pleasantly surprised was beef only and everything was cooked to my liking and the Bun was such a great recommendation from Joy. I had a Sweet tea and Fries to accompany my meal which one of the other employees gave helpful suggestions for the best sauce to dipping sauce to try. I ordered a large custom custard with Vanilla Custard Brownies, Cheesecake, Caramel and Fudge which was delicious although I didn’t really notice much of the cheesecake in the custard it was quite a sweet treat to end my lunch. Great food and genuinely friendly service. The manager was very attentive, and the cashier, Ahinna, was especially kind and welcoming. Overall, a really pleasant experience. All food was eaten!!

This place is known for Custard Ice cream and they can’t even make it correctly. It took 20mins to make my order. I literally got half custard and the other half melted whipped cream. The regular cup is already kinda small so you’re already not getting the value for which you paid for. This was my third visit and every time it’s been pretty much the same experience. I’ll stick with Culver’s down the street.

It was so flavorful and yummy. I was taken on a first date here, as I've never had custard and we both wanted a nice meal. The burgers are a bit expensive just by itself, but the flavor feels like it's worth it to me, in my opinion. The custard is so smooth! So good, especially their chocolate brownie delight. However, for $1 extra a topping, I'd expect them to add more than just a couple of pieces of bits of cheesecake when I added it to my make-your-own sundae. There were only like 6 little pieces in it, but that's my only issue, really! Everything else was nice. You can also hold the custard if you wanna eat the hot food first and then have the custard right after, so it's fresh and not melting. I find that a nice thing to have, for some who prefer that.
