Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

Stopped in to try their Chicago Dogs and it was fantastic! Not many places serve them but Freddy's did a good job. Chicago Dogs are served with mustard, relish under the dogs with tomato on one side, pickle and jalapenos on the other side and topped with onions. The only thing missing was poppy seeds on the bun. Very good!

The staff is friendly, but everybody that works here just started today, every day for the last eight months. Nobody ever seems to know what they’re doing and it’s been this way since they opened the doors. The prices are ridiculous and the food is meh. This particular establishment cannot handle catering orders. Your catering order will be late! And don’t be fooled by the empty corporate response of “please tell us more about your visit.” If they cared, it would be fixed by now.

I love diners in general and Freddy's checks that box when I am in the mood for smash burgers. Add in an order of onions rings or cheese curds plus custard...yes please. An item to note, their jalapeño smash burger has real pepper slices, not the pickled version. Excellent and just enough heat.

Really cool vibe to the place, fantastic burgers! Haven't ever been to this chain. Will be back in the area & will check out other locations. Fries & tots were slightly overcooked... nit sure if that's standard or just today/this location. Cheese curds & onion rings were perfect. (The 4 of us got different sides & shared!) The staff was quick & very friendly.

The food was good. I also witnessed multiple associates helping out at the counter so no one had to wait long. I liked the fact that you ordered at one counter and picked your food at a separate counter so no congestion at in the front.
