Fred's Meat & Bread

One of the best Philly spots in town. Korean Philly is great but I’m partial to the ribeye. Their burger is exceptional as well, as are the fries. Eggplant sub is a really nice veggie option if that’s your jam. Not a cheap spot and the wait can be significant at times, but a great option in Krog.

We got the shrimp poboy, korean cheese steak, and 2 orders of the garlic fries. Absolutely fantastic, the atmosphere was a total vibe. This was on valentines day, they were pretty slammed, but they maintained consistent service, and the food was hot. 100% will go again at the next opportunity. The food was fresh, and the cheesesteak was full of flavor, the bread was so soft. It was just a fantastic experience and will be recommending this to all of my friends and family.

The Burger Stack is an absolute classic. The flavors are perfectly balanced, and the burger was cooked juicy and tender -- truly done to perfection. Every bite hit just right, and it's definitely something I would order again and again. The service was friendly and efficient, and we loved sitting at the walk-up bar -- it made for a relaxed, fun experience. The atmosphere at Krog Street Market adds to the vibe, making it a great spot to grab a quality burger. Fred's Meat & Bread continues to be one of my Krog Street Market favorites. Highly recommend if you're looking for a consistently delicious burger in a casual setting!

I'd heard a lot of positive things about this spot and it's authentic cheesesteaks, so I thought to give it a try today. I must say that my experience was cool! The Cashiers that took my order were very kind and the staff overall seemed hapoy to be there (which is a big deal to me). I decided to get the mushroom shire Philly and garlic fries with ranch. My total came out to almost $30 which I was a tad thrown off by, but when I felt how heavy the bag was- I shut my mouth, cause it was loaded! The ribeye was seasoned deliciously. I had a hard time putting the sub down once I got my hands on it. The minor feedback I have for the sub is as follows: a) i bit into a few pieces of gristle on the ribeye (as a texture-sensitive person, this was impactful & almost made me throw away the sub. For

I would say is just average fast food. My burger was totally "smashed" I mean it is a smash burger lol but too smashed for my taste. I saw other pics and mine had nothing to do with how others looked. The garlic fries were garlic garlic garlic !!! But they were good
