Fresco Cafe is back—and better than ever! Even though the menu is smaller than the original OG Fresco days, it absolutely doesn’t fall short. The quality, flavors, and nostalgic comfort are still very much alive. I used to call almost every day just to find out what the daily soup was—yes, it was that good! Today I ordered the chicken salad sandwich, and it instantly took me back to my high school days. It tastes exactly the same—in the best way possible. Fresh, perfectly seasoned, and made with care. It’s clear they haven’t lost their touch. Fresco Cafe is a gem that’s been deeply missed, and I’m so glad it’s made a comeback in the Public Market!

I hate to give a bad review, but I am really mystified by the good reviews. I tried two different desserts and neither one had any taste at all. One was a small round chocolate cake. The other was a chocolate chip cookie with walnuts. My wife had the same experience, so it wasn't just me. I wouldn't mind that they were rather expensive if they at least tasted good. What is weird is that they looked so good!

DELICIOUS Fresh Fabulous food at Fresco at the Market. My sister and I shared the Veggie Burger. I love the fact that the veggie burger is homemade with veggies and lentils! The burger comes with avocado, red onion, lettuce, cheese and a tasty sauce! We also shared the Hot Mushroom Combo grilled sandwich-WOW-what an amazing combo of mushrooms, brie cheese on a grilled sourdough levain. The Gorgonzola Walnut salad with fresh baby greens, gorgonzola, candied walnuts and citrus vinaigrette is delightful! Equally fantastic is the Jill's Big Salad with romaine lettuce, cheddar cheese, sugar snap peas, pepitas and pistachios! Everything on the menu is tasty!!

Stepped into the market and saw Frescos. I have to say it was so good. I wanted a good salad since it was a hot day. I meet the owner Natalie and she was so sweet I took her recommendation and it was great. If in Santa Barbara I highly recommend going to have great food at Frescos.

I have been eating at Fresco since the old days in 5 Points. So happy they reopened at the Public Market and they haven’t missed a beat. The Grinder hot is legit and the Philly Cheesesteak they had on special was on point. And don’t miss The Caesar Salad, you won’t regret it. Natalie and Jill are the dynamic duo who have brought Fresco back to life. Hallelujah!!
