Fresh Air Barbeque

I went to Open Air BBQ for the first time today. The drive through was convenient and the friendly lady at the window was helpful, kind and sweet. She was the best part of my experience. I ate in my car in the parking lot, because I had my dog tagging along. First o tried the okra. It was hot and fresh. It tasted as expected. Next I tried the Brunswick Stew. This at first bite tasted spoiled. It was not palatable. Next I tried the coleslaw. It was chopped so fine it’s mush and too much sugar. Next I tried the BBQ meat. It was moist and the portion was generous. I did not taste much smoke. The mild sauce is strong on vinegar, very vinegar forward. Overall, my favorite part was the sweet young lady at the drive through who helped in a friendly way.

Southern Hospitality at its finest! We were welcomed right when we walked in the door and the woman at the counter even gave my 3 kids rubber piggies ❤️. Food was very very good. Highly suggest getting the Brunswick Stew and Cole Slaw. Woman at the counter found out it was my birthday and gave me a free pudding also!

The baked beans and okra were 10/10. The bbq ribs were 7/10. Had too much of a vinegar taste and the meat didn't taste smoked at all, it appears to be boiled or grilled with sauce to cover it. The sauce was very thin. I prefer my ribs with no sauce just good ole smoked ribs! Would I go back again if in the area, yes for the baked beans and okra but I would try another meat

This place is great the only problem is it's not open every day of the week but Food is so good that it makes up for that Is definitely worth the wait

Really good pulled pork & amazing fried okra (seriously good). I found the pork was better than Big Dawgs. Super fast service too.
