Fresh Lotus Vegetarian

Did lunch pickup. Got the vegetable tempura and the Stir Fried Vegetable with soy beef. The tempura was disgusting; greasy, soggy, and overcooked, did not come with tempura sauce (but came with sweet and sour sauce...?) The stir fried vegetable with brown rice was delicious however! Flavorful, descent portion size, and cooked well. I think it may have also been greasy, but the rice may have sopped it all up. It's a little out of the way, so not sure if I would make a point to go back based on this visit. Also my friend who picked it up said inside the restaurant had a hole in the wall look to it. Hmm.

Update (see last photo): the restaurant is still operating but has moved. They called me when I didn’t come pick up my order and gave me the new address: 1250 e apache Blvd #116 Tempe 85281 Everything was tasty and she was very nice despite being very busy. Previous review: This restaurant is permanently closed. The website took my money for a carry out order only for me to find an entirely vacant store when I arrived.

The iced coffee and Thai tea are epicly tasty. The shrimp batter was fresh and perfectly crisp. Veggies hit and crisp with amazing flavor. Excellent service. Table caddies could use a deep clean.

Ordered eggplant. Maybe 4 pieces and container half full. Mostly other vegetables not even described on menu. Then they want to charge for Sriracha on $30+ order. Poor service and cutting corners.
