I’ve walked by this place so many times and never went in. Today I was nearby, just wanted one slice, so I finally tried it — and I’m so glad I did. The owner was incredibly friendly and proud of his craft. He showed me how he treats the dough — three full days of work, not your quick mix-and-bake. You can taste the effort in every bite. The sauce, the texture, everything was just right. Yeah, the slice is a little small and the price a bit high, but it was totally worth it. One slice was enough for lunch, and honestly, one of the best I’ve had this year. I tried the honey pizza and added vodka sauce on top — unreal combo. Best Detroit I've had in NYC. Perfect crust, not too doughy. Special slices heaped with fresh ingredients. Worth going out of your way for. Buy an extra slice for later. Lets keep this place open.

This is the ultimate hidden gem of the upper east side. I think people might assume they only do Detroit style pizza, but their New York style is hands down the best slice on the Upper East Side. The meatball pie is also excellent, though they don’t do meatball by the slice. The pizza is outstanding, but what makes this place even better is you can tell how genuinely passionate they are. They have trophies and awards lining the shop, smiles on their faces, and real excitement as they tell you about the “slice of the week”. I’m almost nervous to say this because it’s still easy enough to pop in and grab a slice whenever I want, but they’re such good people that everyone deserves to know how fantastic this place is.

Great food and awesome staff! This is my first time coming here and I’ve never had Detroit style pizza before. Now, I can’t imagine not having it in the future. So much taste, flavor and tang in each bite that I had to go back and get some for lunch the next day. My wife was with me as well and she had one of the weekly specials, the lemon drop, and was so surprised about the flavor palette she also wanted to take some home. I will definitely be coming back for more and already have started spreading the word about how great this place is. We both felt like we were in pizza heaven!

Literally the best pizza ever! I was blown away by the taste and quality of this pizza. Better than anywhere in Italy, Brooklyn or the Village. I had a slice on Friday, went to a Zen weekend and the whole time kept thinking about going back on Sunday, which I did. Had the Hot Honey Burrata, Dr. Johns and Vodka. All excellent. The people there are great too. Be warned its a small space but well worth it and kind of fun.
