Friendly's

Good evening Google Family. This is my first time visiting Friendly's in thirty 30 years. The last time I visited Friendly's was when I went to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and my nephew and I patronized the Friendly's down there. That was eons ago. I visited this fine establishment since I wanted or I had a taste for soup. It is cold outside so a cup of creamed broccoli soup would do just fine. They have a lot of parking here and there are handicapped spaces available. The outside still looks like it did EONS ago, Friendly's has not changed their iconic look. When I entered the restaurant, I encountered Dennis A. who is a server there. Dennis was so nice and engaging. I was telling Dennis that I had a taste for soup. Thank goodness they had soup. I have been to Friendly’s plenty of times, but this time it was totally different. The waitress took a while to bring our food and desserts. It was so bad that we ended up leaving without our ice cream. The manager was unpleasant, unprofessional, and disrespectful. Yelling and causing a big scene in front of everyone because I told him I wasn't happy with my food, and neither was my father nor my sister. I would never go back to this place again. The worst Service EVER!!! My children were so upset.

5-1-25 It's been a long while since I've hit up a Friendly's. Randomly decided to stop in for lunch. Was there around the 1pm-2pm time period. Weren't super busy. Staff was friendly & attentive. I ordered Fried Pickles for an appetizer, then got the Captain's Platter for my meal. Ended it all with the Forbidden Fudge Brownie Sundae. The Fried Pickles themselves were fine, but the dipping sauce was too thin for my liking. My Captain's Platter was good. My main complaint is not getting enough tarter sauce. I did ask for more, which they did get me, but it was just another small amout like the first. (The two could actually fill one container fully.) It’s been forever since I’ve eaten at Friendly’s since all the ones around my hometown closed down—so I was super excited to come here while in Sicklerville. This location is fairly spacious and lots of tables! Food was delicious. For appetizers, would recommend the Munchie Mania—you get to pick any 3 appetizers—the chicken tenders and chicken quesadilla are my favorite, but the other stuff is good too. For entrees, got the Country Chicken Tenders—best chicken tenders ever! Ice Cream here is really good as well! Love the Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream. (Tip: ask for ice cream in a to-go cup—the metal cups/bowls make the ice cream melt fast)

My first time at this location. I had lunch today with my 4 year old grandson, we where greeted at the door by a man who introduce his self as John that was very on point with the portion sizes of different choices on the menu which I thought was impressive and was very pleasant. Hats off to the chef I had a tuna melt that was perfect😋. I have been to a lot of Friendly's in philadelphia and New Jersey and this is the only one that I would give a 5 star rating. Keep up the great work I will be coming back 😊
