Fritanga Fritangon Nica

Food was delicious 😋. Authentic Nicaraguan food. Owner even imports the beef from Nicaragua 🇳🇮. The only downside is that it’s pricey for not being a fancy dine in restaurant. I will still go back knowing the food is gonna be great. Just not as often as I would like. They have a beautiful sitting area outside if you go when it’s cool out. It’s also in a great location.

I love this place!! The service is excellent and the food is super rico. We got pork fritanga, nacatamales and buñuelos. Its clean and they have indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely check them out 👌🏽

Gave Fritangon Nica a try and was NOT disappointed!! As soon as we walked in the cook and server immediately greeted us. As well as the owner, showing us great hospitality. Now for the food, the carne asada was perfectly cooked, tender and juicy, the gallo pinto was full of flavor and my tajadas were freshly made... and let's not forget the queso frito! I'm drooling just thinking about it. I live in north Florida, but originally a Nicaraguan from Miami, so getting to take my family to indulge in this delicious food was definitely a very much missed treat for us. It was like having home made cooking by my abuelita. 10/10 recommend and can't wait to return!

I decided to give this restaurant a try cause it was closest for "nica food".. hole in the wall restaurants usually have great food. Unfortunately the taste of the food was bland. I ordered the carne asada and pollo guisado.. only 1 piece of chicken was disappointing aswell. The beer was cold and refreshing, and the lady serving... customer service was ok. I will have to stick to fritanga spots in Miami.

"First time visiting here, and I decided to give it a shot despite hearing mixed feedback. I want to share my experience. It was a Monday afternoon, so let’s start there: - The welcome was somewhat lukewarm; the staff member cleaning in the back didn't greet us when she saw us, which would have been nice. - I ordered the lengua (tongue stew). It was cooked perfectly, but it was only lukewarm to my preference. Overall, the taste was good. - The tajadas and mariquitas weren’t crunchy—they were soggy. - My wife ordered carne asada and asked for it well done, but it arrived medium. Maybe in a Nicaraguan restaurant, temperature isn’t a big deal—"just eat it," as they say! I encourage you to try it out, but don’t expect Miami Pinolandia. Support Hispanic restaurants! Thank you!"
