Frozen Hoagies

Randomly walked in, and my god this was great. Its just cookies and icecream. All the cookies I got were excellent by themselves and the iceream was great too. After some process of elimination im pretty sure the objective choice was the "Summerville " - Nutella cookie w/tiger eye vanilla icecream. Something to note the icecream sandwiches were a bit hard to eat as a sandwich so use a spoon

This ain't your grocery store ice cream sandwich! I came here to try their good-looking ice cream sandwiches and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of cookie and ice cream options. If you get a hoagie (for around $6), you can choose 2 cookies (either of the same kind or different) among classics like chocolate chip and M&M to more unique flavors like Oreo, Nutella, and Earl Grey. They even have gluten-free cookies! Some were bigger than others and I'm sure the size of the cookie you get correlates to the amount of ice cream you will get so go for the larger cookies. Love this place! I always get a half hoagie. I wish the Somerville location near me didn’t close but I’ll drive to Winchester for the ice cream and cookies! My only suggestion would be that they have a microwave to heat up the cookies. Otherwise don’t change a thing!

I've seen this place have a line out the door once, but when I went on a weekday around 6pm, there was only one other person in line. I've only had what was pictured and some day-old oatmeal cookies, but they were all great. The gluten free chocolate cookie reminded me of a macaron: brittle on the outside but soft and creamy on the inside. The ice cream was smooth and satisfying.
