Frutería Don Chamango # 1

I don't understand the rating for this one. I went there January 25 and it was terrible. We order a coctel de elote with hot cheetos which was alright. But what was insane was the price of the water. How is a water which is topped to the brim with ice cost 9 dollars!?!? Not only that but it's too sweet, tasting as if it was condensed milk straight from the can. There was no hint of rice in that horchata. It seems like a good place for cravings but holy, overpriced, and the corn is sweet corn.

I love this place. I’m a local here and I been coming here for years. duh the music is loud, get over it, for real. They don’t have time to greet everyone when they the only ones taking orders and making food cmon have common sense people. You guys will be okay if they don’t say welcome as soon as you step in. They will greet you when they take your order. Everyone is super nice. The food is good too. If you guys want something extra just say it don’t expect them to know what you want. Good 100% customer service. Every time I come here I love it. I love it so much. People are just too sensible and complain about even a fly flying near them

Every time Ive eaten from here at least 3 times now I get this terrible stomach ache along with you know what lasting for a couple of days. Making me feel like I may have gotten some kind of parasites from this place. Now I see a review on this place with a picture where there are dead flies in the ice cream freezer. Please beware of the public food places you eat from. It's some evil out there and some people just don't care about the food they are serving. I would never eat from here again. Hopefully this will help someone else from not getting a stomach ache as well.

The blonde lady with tattoos is super weird. You say please and thank you and she stays mute even when you ask for things. I got a fresas con crema raspado and I asked her for more lechera and she stared at me with a blank face and poured some looking annoyed. When im almost done with my raspado I get in my car and get this awful smell. When I smell the cup it smells horrible. It smelled like dog or like rotten eggs. Then I get home and my stomach hurts so badly. Its the next morning and I have the worst stomach pain. There’s no doubt in my mind that this woman put something bad in my raspado or honestly just made it with hate. There’s evil people out there, either bitter or jealous but you cant trust anything people make for you. Never going back there again. Terrible customer service. Pl

Save your money and choose a different place. Music is super loud, can’t even order in peace when you have to almost yell to order. Customer service is mediocre at best, employees don’t acknowledge even when you thank them. Unfortunately I’ve given this place several chances but it’s always mediocre.
