Fuji Japanese Steakhouse

Stopped in while shopping at the mall. Got some sushi for lunch. Our rolls were good and had a good presentation. We also tried the fried jalapeño poppers that had fish eggs and sauce. Those were really good! Our service was great, but there was an ordering mishap. Overall I would come back to try a steak dinner next time.

First time eating here on Valentine's Day! Was very good! The server was professional and very on top of his job. And the food was phenomenal! I am a sushi lover and steak lover. Everything that was served was definitely worthy of another visit! We were able to walk in and be seated in about 2 or 3 minutes.

I love Japanese food. I always enjoy hibachi restaurants too... some are good, some are just barely ok. I have seen a lot of reviews of Fuji that are not that flattering... but the reviews are often for sushi, which is not really what most hibachi restaurants excel at. If I want sushi, I will go to a sushi specialty restaurant. Normally the kitchen menus are good (Katsu, Tempura, etc)... but the Hibachi based TeppanYaki is usually the best. So today at Fuji, I ordered the Filet Mignon Hibachi lunch special. Great price... so I figured why not? Service was very good... I was told that the minimum seating at a hibachi table was two. So I could either wait and see if someone else came in wanting that... or I could order two servings. Lol... hungry but not that hungry. I was also told that

We got Sushi, spicy beef ramen (pic) and a chicken bento box. It was all absolutely amazing!! Very good food. Friendly staff, will definitely be going back. Drinks were great too!

Even when they are really busy, this place is a new favorite for us! $4 good bottled beers, good wines for $7-8, really friendly servers/bartenders. The filet teppanyaki & chicken/shrimp/filet teppanyaki portions were huge & perfectly cooked. It's 2 meals each for us. We will definitely come back here! Thanks, Fuji staff!
