Fujiyama Japanese restaurant & sushi bar

Located in the strip mall near Sprouts off Highway 68, Fujiyama is a solid spot for sushi and cooked entrées. I only tried the sushi this visit, and while it didn’t stand out compared with other sushi places, it was decent—especially for Prescott. I’d go back to try more from the main menu. The restaurant gets busy right after opening and has a comfortable, family‑friendly vibe. Prices are reasonable, though not necessarily a value. What really makes Fujiyama shine is the service. Our server, Harv, was excellent, and the entire team—from the host to the chefs to the bussers—was attentive and on point.

My wife and I stopped in for a sushi date and had a great experience. The nigiri was good and tasted fresh. We were also recommended to try the Spanish mackerel special sashimi and it was really tasty and presented nicely. We have family in Prescott and visit every year. We will definitely come back next time we're in the area.

Good food. They have a relatively small menu and the tables are close together. It can get crowded. The sushi and tempura was good . The staff was very friendly and service was great. I would visit again

Wet cane in for lunch this week and I ordered the rainbow roll. The I cause if the roll was so cold I couldn't eat it. I offered it to my son and he couldn't eat it either. We shared this with the waitress and the response we got was "oh weird". If the sushi was freshly rolled why was the inside of the roll much colder than the fish on top?

Went to Fujiyama yesterday with the recommendation of a friend and was pleasantly surprised by the food and staff. It was five of us, but we got sat quickly and checked out the menu. My friends daughter got her avocado roll quickly, which looked amazing, and she devoured quickly. It took a while for us to get something else as they were unexplectantly slammed and did not have the staff to handle it. We finally were able to order more food, but there was a mix-up that happened, and we ended up with someone else's food. It worked out, though, and we finally ended up with our food. My friend and I shared a rainbow roll, fried salmon salad, and special sauce. Everything was delicious, especially the special sauce! It was a little greasy but had a mix of seafood and spices that made the salmon
