The food was very fresh, from our appetizers coming out crispy and well-prepared to the handmade sushi. The service was great - very attentive and accommodating. It was a great dining experience overall. A great value as well.

we tried via Doordash and I was surprised how good it was ! fresh fast and the dinner we ordered was hot when it arrived! the sushi was very good 💯 I had a little side salad and the dressing was selfmade I think, it was so delicious ! thank you ! we will definitely swing by and dine in the next time ❤️

What a great experience and delicious, beautifully presented sushi. Sweet Shrimp was so pretty! They gifted me with a little cucumber dish and the most perfectly sized chocolate dessert morsel I’ve ever had in a restaurant. The interior was warm and cozy, and very clean and tidy. The service was top notch. And the prices were SO reasonable, especially post-COVID. I appreciated the sake carafe prices mostly. The perfect sushi experience. Can’t wait to come back when I visit.

Exceptional. Service bar none, fresh and fantastic tasting sushi 🍣 from presentation to delivery this place will make you feel like a king being served. We picked from a few of the choose your own rolls special for $27 and each got two rolls of choice.

Fuji Yama is my favorite sushi restaurant in Virginia Beach. All staffs are nice there, especially the boss. She is super nice and did care about people. Every time I came, she will chat with me. She makes sure all food and sushi are fresh. Dragon Roll, Friday Night, Twin Tower are the rolls that I order most often. Dragon roll has cucumber, crab meet, tuna inside, and avocado, eel, and roe on the top. Friday Night has shrimp tempura, crabmeat and seaweed inside, which is really special. I have never tried the rolls with seaweed in other restaurants. Twin Tower is my favorite, there are shrimp tempura an ell inside, crab meat and avocado on the top. Takoyaki is off-menu dish. It’s only available when the boss is here. But I do think it’s the signature dish. You can ask if it’s available.
