During my time there, I was there for an ASL Happy Hour with many people and I interacted with two bartenders. A younger man and then also John. Upon arrival and meeting with my friends, l attempted to order my food and drinks. John, who was my bartender, kept saying huh every time I would say my order. After the third time, my friend said he was making a joke/trying to be funny. After looking at him puzzled he then tried to gesture that he was making a joke and that it missed the mark. I don't see how making a joke about not being able to hear me when you clearly can and making me repeat myself at an ASL event seems like the best thing to do. I go to pay in cash after he says the price and then he doesn't give me all the change back but walks away. I get my drink but am still waiting on t

10/10 best pub we've been to in new york. Guinness was as close you'd get at home. John the owner/bartender was an absolute gent, really made us feel like we were at home. Couldn't recommend this place enough🍀🍀top guy

I was at this bar last night and witnessed an incident at the entrance that was honestly ridiculous and completely avoidable. A group was coming in and the bouncer immediately got aggressive and escalated things for no reason. It quickly turned into him shoving one of the guys out and continuing the confrontation outside. Watching staff turn something so small into a physical situation was honestly shocking. No one goes out expecting to deal with aggressive staff or feel uncomfortable the second they walk in. The whole thing left a really bad impression and completely killed the vibe. After seeing how that was handled, I definitely won’t be coming back, and I’d honestly tell others to avoid this place too if you want a night out without unnecessary drama.

I want to share a troubling experience I had at Failte on December 21, 2025. While I was there there, I faced discrimination and harassment from a staff member. When I expressed that I was feeling dizzy due to a medical condition and asked for a glass of water, he denied my request. Despite my situation, I was bullied and dismissed. Thankfully, a friend of mine managed to get me water from another bartender. However, to my shock, the same individual who refused to help me then threw my water away. This kind of treatment is unacceptable. Everyone deserves compassion and respect, especially when it comes to their health. I'm sharing this to raise awareness about how important it is for establishments to train their staff to treat all patrons with kindness and understanding.

The service is so rude. They are tipped with my card without my permission and 2 hours after I leave the bar. I can't believe such a bar needs more than 20% tip on a single one cup of beer. CRAZY! Give my money back. I don't want to tip you. Your rude service does not deserve 20%.
