G-Brothers Smokehouse

Came in for first time on valentine's day. Staff was friendly, even gave my wife a free rose, so she was impressed right off the bat. Place was clean, and well organized. Food was really good. I got a tri tip sandwich, and it had a nice smoked flavor and good seasoning, fries were really good too. My wife loved her plate as well. Would definitely recommend this place, and if we lived closer would probably be there once a week, lol

AMAZING!! wow you guys I was truly blown away by this place. My fiance and I stopped by for the very first time and we will definitely be coming back. The man working the counter was super friendly and helpful. He explained all the sauces to us, was super patient when we didn't know what we were doing, and he just had such a good overall vibe. Now THATS how you do customer service!! We placed our orders and the food came out quick. Let me just say, I normally will season the heck out of my eggs because that's just how I like it, but I didn't need to do that here. I just dipped my tritip into the yolk and that was enough flavor for me. The meat was super tender and it just melts in your mouth. Everything was phenomenal, from the food to the customer service. All our meals over the years at G Brothers have been delicious. The delicious meats and tasty sides make a great meal, anything you choose will fulfill your barbecue taste buds. There is plenty of seating and a small parking lot with additional parking nearby. Be sure to read the daily specials, they have some good combinations to choose from. The employees are very pleasant, their courtesy adds to the barbecue joint charm. The decor makes you feel as if you’re on a highway in the south in a rest stop barbecue joint.

Highly recommend this place and for you to try the G Brothers Combo: Brisket, Ribs, Chicken, Beans, Potato Salad, and Garlic bread which feeds six. The four of us were not disappointed. Especially since we had left overs to go! So if you’re looking for great food with a relaxing atmosphere to eat in then stop on by the next time you’re driving in San Luis Obispo on your way to the coast. Food was worth the price!
