TERRIBLE! ,called in a m.ball grinder, got there, not ready so like always rush, rush ,rush made the grinder mozzarella on grinder look like rubber, cheese not melted bread falling apart the min I picked up for a bite , then on top of it cold!!! I told the guy I called the order in why are we doing it now he said 2 sec it will be ready. Already was getting that look like is a crime to complain about your order. So I got a cold grinder w a long ruber mozzarella that was not melted! Grinder was nasty! won't be going there no more $15 to the garbage!!!!

Absolutely incredible! Best in CT! (And NY!) My favorite sandwich is chicken cutlets on their delicious sesame bread, topped with fresh mooz, sun-dried pepper (or tomato) arugula, pesto and balsamic glaze. The chicken cutlets are thin and perfect. The staff is wonderful. Don’t look further for a sandwich. As a bonus they’re huge and the prices can’t be beat.

I travel around Connecticut for work, and have been on a quest to find the best sub in the state. I haven’t found anything better than Gaetano’s. The bread is legit, the ingredients are tiptop, the line for the food is reflective of what you’re getting… This place is the best. I still get excited about going to either of their locations. 5 stars

Hands down, my favorite deli anywhere. Shelton location delivers the same great food as as the original Stratford location. Their grinder roles and sharp provolone make for a terrific roast beef sandwich. Never had anything from Gaetanos that I didn't love!

Gaetano’s Deli brings that Arthur Ave vibe right here without the Bronx trip. Guy, Vinny, and the crew run a top-notch operation. I always go for the Stratford and Main, but honestly, nothing on the menu disappoints. A real gem for anyone who appreciates quality and flavor.
