Gaetano's of Maple Shade

Nicest owners and family that work there, literally the best cheesesteaks, chicken salad, Italian hoagies, pizza slices for my kiddos, amazing chicken tenders, and fresh salads that I usually prefer. They’re really hard workers who want every order to be made just how you like it, and it shows every time I go! Highly recommend.

I went to Gaetano’s of Maple Shade yesterday afternoon, after looking it up on google maps. The Lyft driver that drove me to the restaurant told me that I chose well, that Gaetano’s is famous for the cheesesteak sandwich. They offer a variety of different hot and cold sandwiches, as well as Pizza, Calzone & Strombolis, Dinners & Seafood, hot appetisers and Burgers. I decided to go with the their famous 12 inches cheese steak hoagies since I was famished. It consisted of grounded beet, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, oil, vinegar, salt, pepper and melted mozzarella in their famous bread. Let me tell you, it was delight. The beef was savoury with hot melted cheese, vinegar & oil and topped with their onions, tomatoes, lettuce. I managed to finish it up. I was full and happy. I noticed that

Good but inconsistent. I’ve been here a few times in the past and their hoagies were decent, other times not so much. Most recently the cheesesteak was really top notch. Tons of steak, cheese and the bread was really good. Maybe just a touch over-seasoned for my tastes (quite salty even for a cheesesteak) but that’s being nit picky. My kid’s chicken tenders were fantastic though. Really nice & crispy cutlets.

Had a bad experience with onion skin in every bite of the cheesesteak. Threw 3/4’s of it away because of that. I called and the manager offered me $5 off of my next order…There won’t be a next order LOL!

Being a Philly Native on vacation transplanted to Florida thirty years ago, I went searching for that nostalgic Cheesesteak goodness. Gaetano's came through, with one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. Now, can you ship to Florida? 😆 Absolutely delicious! Thank you again! Tastebud Nirvana! 17" long! 🥰
