Customer Reviews
My first time to visit, but my husband had visited numerous times several years ago. We were greeted by Tracy, who took excellent care of us. I had the poppyseed chicken casserole, green beans, fried green tomatoes, & a salad. My husband had camp stew, green beans, creamed corn, & cole slaw. Both served with cornbread muffins & iced tea. My food was delicious & plentiful. My husband said the camp stew seemed watered down, but he still enjoyed his meal. A great meat & 3, come hungry, & ask for Tracy!
Atmosphere is extremely casual and low end. Decor is overtly Christian and without theme otherwise. Service was fine, waitress was cordial and accommodating. Food was poor, I ordered the Chicken Parm. The breast was tender, but the breading was entirely mush. The sauce atop was a nondescript blend of tomato and cheese, akin to a canned pasta sauce blended with cheese.
What a wonderful little hidden gem! ❤️ The days of meat and three are growing harder and harder to find. I was in town on business and ran into this little jewel. I came in I believe after the major lunch rush, but still people coming in. There is a bar, that appeared to have many “regulars” seated and sharing conversation with the waiter there. I say waiter because I do not believe any alcohol is served here. I ordered the fried chicken, green beans, and purple hull peas with sliced tomato. Everything was seasoned well, nice and hot, with the tomatoes being nice and fresh. The cornbread muffin was very good as well, just wish I would have had another. No way I could get dessert, but I did see someone order the strawberry shortcake and it looked really good. They are only open for lunch,
Great meat and 3. Good home-cooking style food. The food is always good and fresh and tastes great. Great prices and good portions. The service is great. Very friendly and helpful servers. Old country atmosphere with memorabilia all over the walls. Nice laid-back feeling.
Kaylee our waitress was great. I had double salad, fried green tomatoes and fried chicken. It was all good. My friend had fried chicken and mash potatoes. She loved it. For dessert we had strawberry shortcake and blackberry cobbler. She said the SSC was good. I loved my cobbler because it was just a little bit tart.
