GAO’s BBQ

Amazing skewers and great atmosphere! The lamb and pork belly were so flavorful and perfectly grilled. Portions are generous and prices are very reasonable. Love the lively vibe with music and karaoke. Definitely coming back!

SO good!! Gao’s really hits the spot for Chinese skewers — they have such a solid selection of options, our favorites were the pork belly and pork intestine! The service here is so lovely and the staff are so sweet and attentive. Vibes are also so fun, they blast BOPS karaoke style on their TV. Such a fun place for a date or with friends.

This was my second visit to this BBQ restaurant. There was a large puddle of water right at the entrance, extremely slippery, and no one bothered to clean it up—serious safety issue. The staff were rude, and the service attitude was very poor. During the meal, I found a small bug on the table, about the size of cumin seasoning. At first I thought it was spice—realizing it was a bug completely killed my appetite. Later, I went to the restroom and found no toilet paper or paper towels at all. Overall, bad service and a disappointing experience. Aside from decent music and okay edamame, everything else was a letdown. …and the restroom door was hard to open and clearly not maintained. Even after we finished eating, the large puddle at the entrance was still there—completely ignored.

Excited to try this place, they open late so it’s very convenient and a good hang out place! Vibes are good, very late bar feeling. Food is very good too not too spicy (i think they adjust it) and not too salty as well. Overall very enjoyable. Will hopefully come next time!!

To be serenaded while you eat is really what makes the place. The food is bomb- chicken skewers and pork skewers were great. I prefer the chicken. The shrimp fried rice was also good! Didn’t look to have soy sausage on it but it wasn’t missing flavor at all
