Garlic & Ginger

It is one of the best Korean-style restaurants in Gainesville. I prefer it to other Korean restaurants like Seoul Pocha or Momoyaki. We ordered naengmyeon and jjambbong today. The jjambbong was really awesome—it tasted like the kind you get at Chinese restaurants in Korea. The side dishes, including kimchi, yellow pickled radish, and fish cake, were very generous in portion. Next time, we’re planning to try the jeongol which is signature menu of here.

I’ve been here with my best friends for many many moons. This has been my go to spot for many hard days and so many many future days ahead. The wonderful owner really makes this place a special place to eat at for any occasion 🫶🏼❤️ please keep this place going, it’s local and the Jjamppong, + Tteok-bokki is what keeps me nourished and happy, honestly, everything I’ve had has been tasty and nourishing. 🤩❤️ Literally the best Korean in town, and more than anything, this place deserves so much recognition. BEST KOREAN FOOD IN GAINESVILLE! This is my favorite Korean restaurant in Gainesville! They have a variety compared to Seoul Pocha like more soup and noodle dishes. I love their jajameong and tteok mandoo soup which comes in huge portions! Service is always quick as well!

My favourite Korean spot! My friends complain that I go here too often- food is bomb, service is bomb, everything’s bomb :) I get the same thing every time but my friend gets different thing and I steal a nibble and it’s always yummy!

Food was amazing and came out fast!! The owner is very nice and accommodating for any of your needs. Would definitely come back again!
