Gas Lamp Grille

Courtney was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of me and my friend and had the best energy from start to finish. She was so attentive and friendly, and really made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The food was incredible, the lobster mac and cheese was amazing, and the margarita pizza was so good! Everything came out hot, fresh, and great quality. We loved her and will definitely be back because of Courtney!

We loved the Gas Lamp!! We ate here two nights in a row, and the food was excellent. Cade was fantastic, and made us feel so welcome. The whole staff was great. We will definitely come back on future trips to Newport!

Highly recommend this place! We had the lobster roll and the cod — both dishes were absolutely delicious. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive, and we felt genuinely welcome. A 10/10 experience.

With an exception of chowder, we were disappointed with the food. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special either for the price. We had fish'n'chips and fish and both were just ok. Perhaps sticking to appetizers or more of bar food would've been more satisfying as it is a bar after all. The beer was, in fact, good.

On an east coast trip and decided to make the drive to Newport. Absolutely worth it. We came down and enjoyed a stroll around downtown. Very cute place. Parking was plentiful, but you needed to pay for it . We walked by the Gas Lamp Grille and it was intriguing. The menu was diverse., so we decided to eat dinner here. The service was solid. It wasn't too busy. The food came out hot and was very delicious. The presentation was good. Most importantly, the food was very good.the view from the restaurant was very good as well. This is a great spot for a quick bite to eat. I would definitely recommend it.
