Gator's Dockside DeLand

We have been coming to Gators in Deland for 9 years. We particularly enjoyed bring the grandkids here to play the electronic games. The games and the assistance from the staff with problems with the games have steadily got worse to the point where now they are a complete ripoff. Many of them simply don't work. They take money from the game card and nothing happens. Just dead. When you complain to the staff they say sorry but we can't help you. You have to call a toll Free number and they will put credits back on the card. Dont take your kids to play the games at Gators. You will be very disappointed. Such a pity!

I really hate leaving bad reviews. Upon entering it was noticeable hot inside. I used a menu to fan myself the whole time. Their fans were on but didn't seem to help in the slightest. Our server was very nice. The food was meh. We had a total of 7 people with us. Each of us ordered something different. My fish was good, My son did not complain about his burger at all. He actually devoured it. The boneless wings my foster daughter ordered.She did not complain about. However, the two adult men ordered different types of wings and it was like the sauce was just poured over them and they weren't tossed in the sauce at all. Also, my daughter wore tacos.They were beef and it looked like the beef was burnt to a crisp. She only took one bite. $188 dollars of miserable experience. I honestly don't

The waitress was really sweet. She didn't know the answer to a question we asked, but came back with a very solid answer. She was attentive and none of our poor experience had to do with her. Kids macaroni was served in a small dollar store-looking bowl that had a nickel sized chunk out of it. That grossed me out, but we didn't want our food spit in, so we didn't send it back. You would think a restaurant would understand that bacteria can grow more easily in broken dishes and try to avoid serving in them. It didn't look like a very expensive dish to replace. But they are definitely cutting corners to money, evidently. My salad came with about 1/3 cup of small chopped chicken on top of iceberg shreds. It was pretty expensive for hardly any protein + the cheapest lettuce you can find. The

Not too many people were there. Perfect timing😂. More people came later into our meal. Still wasn't bad. Our server was Amber🌼. She was really sweet and on point! Food was delicious 😋🤤 The bartender knows how to make a mixed drink that's for sure☺️. Don't worry that's just the bill we made sure to tip her and buy a shirt lol.

Got 100 wings. 75 traditional and 25 boneless. The food was good the only disappointment was getting rushing home to watch the Superbowl and finding out that instead of the 25 medium wings I order I got 25 mild. The mild is pretty much flavorless. The rest of the food was very good and I was satisfied with it all.
