The fried zucchini was spectacular because it was very thinly cut. The spinach and garlic was excellent as an appetizer. I have stuff left over for home. The Arancini with the sauce was excellent and the meatballs were very filling. Nice job Chuck and. Frank

I attended a funeral luncheon here, and the service was absolutely incredible. On such a difficult day, the team went above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable and cared for. Their attention to detail and hospitality truly made a hard moment easier for all involved. I highly recommend Gatto’s—whether you’re planning a night out or your next event, they will make it truly memorable. Thank you to Chuck and the entire Gatto’s Downers Grove crew for everything.

2nd time and we sat in the dining room this visit. Tasty food and very reasonable prices IMO. The server (Sabrina) was attentive and cordial. Food came out hot and was well seasoned. Wait was shorter than expected. A touch on the noisiere side but not detrimental to conversation. And this is just a "me" thing, I'd like a better selection of gin for the martinis. (Hendricks and Bombay only)

Food and service were amazing! I inhaled the Chicken Saltimbocca and the Lasagna was delicious, very generous portions. The Minestrone and Split Pea soups were great starters. Whiskey Sour was in a tall glass, good price. The Espresso Martini and Mango Italian Ice were wonderful desserts.

The experience at this restaurant was exceptional from start to finish. The portions were generous, and the ingredients were clearly fresh. The staff made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. Highly recommended for anyone who loves good food.
