I had such a great dining experience at Gayou's ! The customer service was top-notch—welcoming and professional. The quality of the food and drinks exceeded my expectations, and everything was made fresh and tasted delicious. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending them to others. Keep up the amazing work!

I came by because Google Maps says they close at 11 PM. When I arrived, a staff member was locking the door. He stepped outside and spoke to another customer in Haitian Creole but did not acknowledge me at all, even though I was standing there speaking English. He went back inside without saying anything to me. If you’re closed early, that’s fine — but please update your hours and communicate with all customers respectfully. That experience felt dismissive and unwelcoming.

I honestly don’t have any words for how amazing this food was. It felt as if there was a party in my mouth. This restaurant make me feel like I’m being transformed to Haiti. Every time I come to Miami, I come to eat some Haitian food. I came on September 13 before my cruise and I’m so glad I did. I got Legumes avec diri blanc et Poison Fri avec diri blanc. As a Haitian who was born and raised in Haiti, I miss home all the time and I’m so happy I get a taste of home like this.

Gayou’s Restaurant is hands down the best Haitian food in Little Haiti. The moment you walk in, it feels like home 🇭🇹. The flavors are authentic, rich, and cooked with real love just like back home. Every dish tastes fresh, seasoned perfectly, and full of culture. If you’re craving that true Haitian experience and want to feel close to home, this is the spot.
