Geechee Grub

So, let me start by saying the staff was courteous, welcoming and friendly. I posted a picture of my plate. It tasted just as good as it looks. They have a wide variety of entrees and sides. So, give your palate a break from the usual steak and stop by for some real southern grub. So, I went back today 12/10 and had a less than average experience. The rice in my Oxtails was over-cooked. It was hard and crusty. The mac n cheese was okay. I got fries for my daughter that appeared to be pretty good as I observed her eating them. The customer service was unimpressive. So, the overall experience was a 2 star at best. Now, I’m not sure which experience I should anticipate.

I consider myself a supporter of Black Owned businesses, I really wanted to enjoy the food, but I can't lie. It was horrible! I had fried chicken, French fries, and the mac & tuna salad which had a strange and rancid smell, as if it was made years ago. When it was served in the container, Grandma had to smell it too. I can't go back there ever! I think that those who gave this place a thumbs up are good friends or relatives. And may I add, the service is very slow and the young lady taking the orders and cooking the food not very pleasant.

They tried to fry my 🍤 shrimp, but it was steamed shrimp 🍤 leftover from breakfast, so needless to say it was overcooked❗My fish 🐟 was undercooked and Anorexic❗Overall customer service was poor👎🏾❗ If You don't want to be at work you should call off and not let your customers suffer. Do yourselves a favor and do not patronize this business take your money elsewhere where you know it will be appreciatedYou've been warned.❗❗❗

The first impression of a person is crucial. Everything the reviews are true, I pray they get the professionalism they need to make there business better. It can be a success, but we must want to change!

i tried to support because it was a black owned restaurant but they’re so rude & unprofessional. i’ll never go there again .
