Gennaro's Chicago Style Pizza

I was quite impressed! I've driven by this place over 100 times and until recently have never stopped in. The lighted shopping center electronic billboard started highlighting the fact that Gennaro's offered Chicago style deep dish pizza. I put it on my list of local restaurants to try and several weeks ago my wife and I made the drive up to Pottstown to give them a shot. The interior is typical of a pizza shop with all the premade pizzas behind the glass the ovens the stack boxes and a few sets of tables and chairs. We grabbed a to-go menu, sat down and studied it for a little bit and then ordered up the vegetarian Chicago deep dish; cost $28. The way you're told it would be about 25 minutes for the pizza. Mr. Gennaro is the most friendly owner of a shop in the area hands down. Fantastic pizza. Unbelievable quality. Wonderful place absolutely 0 notes.

The Sicilian pizza is the best. I have never had thick crust pizza that was light and airy. Tried the Fat Sammy sandwich, and I can hands down say the best sandwich I've ever had. Portion size is not missed here. Come hungry and leave full. Nothing lacks on flavor. Very pleased.

We had the Chicago style vegetarian pizza.It was delicious the crust was perfect.The cheese was gooey and delicious, the veggies included spinach green peppers onions black olives and mushrooms.

This place is really good and the people are very nice. Pizza has a lot of flavor and is cooked perfect in my opinion.
