George's Restaurant of Warrenton

Met family here on a Saturday evening, was pleased they still had a few tables available. I had ‘George’s Patty Melt’ and my wife ordered the ‘Lemon Chicken.’ The Patty Melt with chip was very tasty, it hit the spot! The Lemon Chicken was plentiful, but could use more flavor. The waitress was wonderful, no rushing, even on a Saturday at dinner time, and very attentive. Will visit here again.

This restaurant was a total surprise! The food is delicious and the portions are huge! I mean one small calzone could be enough for two hungry people. The atmosphere is very homey and welcoming, the server was kind and friendly. We had a great time.

I’ve been here twice. The first time was amazing that I came back within a week or two with my family. Atmosphere is great and very clean. The staff and owner are always friendly. I drive 40 minutes to come here, trust and believe me when I say it is worth coming too. Food is always hot and fresh, it’s like you’re eating a home cooked meal. I’ve had the pastas, crab dip, wings, load fries, hamburger steak, desserts, drinks and more!!!

Our party of four arrived around 1:00 p.m. on a Sunday and were seated immediately, even with the restaurant buzzing from the after-church crowd. Our waitress was very attentive and made sure everything we needed was taken care of. The food arrived quickly and exactly as ordered. Our table enjoyed a burger, meatball sub, Reuben, and a calf’s liver entrée—all served hot and delicious. The portions were very generous, and we all had leftovers to take home. We’re definitely looking forward to coming back.

They have a loud, banging kitchen door that could probably be easily fixed, but otherwise, the food is fantastic, the staff is great, the portions are huge - usually enough for more than one person - and the atmosphere is very cool. It's an old historical building, so you can't really beat that for a vibe. They have craft beers on tap and everything is very reasonably priced. We'll drive 25 minutes to get there because we like it that much. Highly recommended.
