Company handled our headache of a tax return in a timely and professional manner. Appreciate that Mr. Hoots took the time to interview us before taking the account. Also appreciate that his firm is now a part of Archer Lewis- which provides the firm backup should it be needed.

Highly recommend! Mr. Hoots has been preparing our taxes for the past 20 years. He and his staff are top notch and professional in all regards. In addition to taxes, we previously retained him for advice and counseling on a successful real estate investment on the Oregon Coast. They worked with my schedule to get me a great appointment time. This year they mailed me a packet to gather all my material in and a nice reminder letter to schedule my appointment to review my taxes.

This organization is an absolute joke. Amy, Monica and everybody that works there are absolutely horrible. They will give you the runaround. They won’t help you. They really have little professionalism. Run far far away from this company and organization never use them for accounting services whatsoever. They are selling the company and not telling their customers.

Gerry Hoots did my taxes for several years. Last year, after filing my taxes, I got a letter from the IRS stating that I owed $13,000 in federal taxes. I had receipts showing what I had paid. I called Gerry Hoots and he said he'd take care of it. I wasn't worried because I knew I had paid and Gerry was going to sort it out. About 6 weeks later, I got another letter from the IRS, much more threatening. I called IRS and they had never heard from my accountant. I called Gerry Hoots many times and he was never available to take my call. After a few months, I sorted it out myself. Not only did I not owe, but the IRS said I had overpaid by more than $900. I got a check back with interest. I wonder if I overpaid in past years, also. So, Hoots did my taxes wrong, then refused to stand by
