Get Hu'sum Pizza

We stopped by Hu’sum pizza after our rafting trip and we were not disappointed. Nothing like coming hungry after two hours in the water to be treated to hot, cheesy pizza, The pizzas were delicious and our party of 16 truly enjoyed it. The owner was also very friendly and accommodating. Con: The prices are a little steep.

We lived in Portland for years and this is by far the best deep dish we've had. Located at River Drifters in Husum (just 15 min from the Hood River bridge) the whole experience that Stan and his crew deliver is fantastic! Book a river float with them on the White Salmon River, a wild and scenic river that is just spectacular and then chow down on Stan's incredible pizza. Well worth the hour and 15 minute trip from Portland (or wherever!) for and amazing day with family and friends!

Oh man, what a find! If happiness had a flavor, I’m pretty sure it would taste like the Sicilian-style pizza at Get Hu’sum. I had a slice of the Maytag, with bbq pork, pineapple, pepperonchini and hot honey. I am from out east and have had MANY Sicilian pizza slices. This was the best Sicilian I've ever had! My family all equally loved their slices. The crust was perfectly golden with that magic balance of airy crusty and chewy, the sauce was cooked (the secret) , and the toppings were a love letter to flavor itself. But it was Stan—the owner and culinary-educated wizard behind the oven—that really put this place over the top and is the reason I am writing this review. I consider myself a pizza person & have traveled the world searching for the best places to eat and hands down this is the best pizza I have ever had in my life. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They also have a rafting company on site! I’ll go rafting next time for sure with River Drifters! Thank you!!

Grabbed some slices to go. The crust and dough were cooked just right. Flavors were on point. Glad we stopped.
