Gezellig Seafoods and European Groceries

Checking my pulse because I just walked out of heaven. The selection of meats and seafood is completely mind blowing. After you see the seafood freezers full of octopus, unagi, squid, Australian tiger prawns, the next fridge has live manilla clams, crab meat, and oysters from the best farm in Oregon- Crow Oysters in Netarts. The walls are stocked with various candies, chips, jarred delights such pistachio cream, anchovy, and seafood boil. Imported candy is legion. There were some familiar favorites but most were candies I've never seen. They are expanding soon to include Asian and Eastern European goods along with convenience goods. Guanciale coming soon.

My husband had been here before and he wanted me to check it out. It's a cool little store with a lot of goodies from around the world. See my last photo to see what we bought. We haven't tasted everything yet, but what we have has been nummy. The lady running the place/cash machine was nice and she was friendly. Check out this store next time you are in Astoria.

Fordinka is an amazing lady! She cooks some super yummy Bosnian dishes like sarma! 😋 And… what a selection of all kinds of goodies from Europe, esp. The Netherlands!! 🇳🇱

Cool lil shop to visit and buy some exotic meats and food from around the world!!! Definitely definitely a must stop for everyone! If you can’t find something good to eat here something wrong with you!!! Plus the lady that worked there was super nice! Definitely will be back!

This is such a gem in Astoria! Incredible selection of unique European groceries, good selection of gluten free products, and outstanding clam chowder! Terrific customer service - such lovely and generous owners. This is a must see when in Astoria!
