I ordered the Chinese chicken wrap but unfortunately there was no chicken in it. The staff was very nice and re-made my wrap for free and gave me a complimentary cookie but there was still no chicken in the second wrap from what I could tell. I ate half of the wrap and tasted no chicken. I wouldn’t normally post about this but look at the photos attached. The brown things are wonton chips. The first photo is the first wrap I got and the second is the second wrap I got. The third is from their website and the fourth is from their tik tok. You can tell mine does not have white chunks of chicken. If there really is chicken in it it must be cut extremely small and a very small amount. Disappointing since it’s $20 for a wrap.
I can feel it is famous place when I arrived. We order 2 sandwhiches and side dish. They only serve as a togo but I tipped them. Riceball? Was really delicious. The sauce is kick in this restaurant. And sandwhich is also so good though the bread is kind of thick and hard for me. My teeth hurts.
Ggiata’s famous Spicy P absolutely lived up to the hype. The sesame bread had a satisfying crunch that held everything together beautifully, and the vodka sauce added just the right amount of richness. The mix of basil, pesto, and fresh mozzarella worked in perfect harmony, making every bite balanced and flavorful. I’d definitely return to explore more of their sandwiches after this one set the bar so high.
Wanting a sandwich, we headed to Ggiata in West Hollywood. Found parking right across the street, but I am sure you might have to drive around to find a spot at certain times. As we were there early-ish, there was no line and all but 1 place was available for seating. There are 2 tables outside and I think there are 2 inside. Went with a special, The California Club, and one sandwich off of the normal menu, The Turk. It took a few minutes for the food to get ready, so we took a table outside to enjoy our drinks while we waited. When our food was ready, we decided to stay and eat there. The sandwiches were wonderful. The Club was a mess. Dressing everywhere when I was done. And it was so worth it. Sesame roll, full of sesame flavor from the first bite. The pastrami was a nice touch and rea
The first sandwich I tried at Ggiata was the burr (tuna) and I have had a hard time ordering anything else. But I did venture out with a chicken caesar wrap and thoroughly enjoyed it as well. The salads are also delicious and fresh. Friendly service and a low-key pleasant atmosphere.
