GG'S SOUTHERN KITCHEN

Hands down best fried chicken and collard greens I’ve ever had! My girls loved their pork chop sandwiches and my husband devoured the stewed chicken! The staff and owner (? We think) were kind and hospitable!! Thank y’all for an amazing first dinner of vacation!!

We were just driving through and pulled up restaurants on Google. It was between GG's and A seafood restaurant. I am so glad we choose GG's. We ordered fried chicken with mac n cheese rice and gravy and cubed steak with greens and cabbage. Oh my goodness!!! Everything was great!!! The chicken had the best crisp to it ever!! We love finding small family owned restaurants to eat in. The owners were there working and even came over to chat. Definitely swing by and give this place a try if you are in town.

We were looking for a non-chain type restaurant to have lunch on our trip and found this terrific gem. The facility was very clean, the staff was wonderful and the menu was simple and deliciously descriptive. We received our food in a short time after ordering and it looked as delicious as it sounded. In the end, there wasn't a morsel left on either plate. They were perfectly proportioned and quite tasty. My husband is not a cornbread fan but he ate every bite. Great place, great option. 5 Stars!

The first time I went to GG's restaurant I didn't know what to expect. The moment I walked in I was greeted by a smiling face and welcomed to GG's. The first thing I noticed was how clean the place was and the wonderful smells that filled the place. The staff was friendly and eager to answer my many questions. I ordered the fried chicken, yams, green beans, mac n cheese and crackling beard. It was by far the best food that I've had in the 17 years since my grandma had passed. It definitely took me back to those days when she was cooking in the kitchen. I enjoyed the food so much that I returned to GG's the following day with my entire family. I definitely plan on going there again and again and again.

Good old home cook southern food, serve fresh daily nothing out the can and nothing never frozen. A real homemade soul food restaraunt. Real lemonade squeeze right from lemon...dont forget that Pound cake to go with it after...
