Customer Reviews
Love this GE. We have been here twice now since we moved to the area. The seafood counter is amazing. The only thing they are missing is the fresh made sushi 😕. Their mums are beautiful and priced great at $5.99 each right now!The store is always clean and stocked well and all staff interaction has been exceptionally friendly and helpful. As with all grocery stores, they are a little pricey but we go for the great sale prices.
When I visited, the store wasn't super busy. The staff were polite and helpful. My son had fun scanning items put into the cart, so at checkout we just had to pay. He also used an app to locate items on our shopping list which cut down on the time spent wandering aisles. The store was clean and bright, but not overly bright. Overall, the experience was actually pleasant, which is not something I would normally say about shopping.
Worst experience of my grocery shopping career here. Understaffed and that staff that is there surely doesn’t want to be. Stood in self check out for almost 15 mins. Would have been about the same queue time if I had waited for a real cashier. Hire more people; pay them well and appreciate the people who do a good job. I wouldn’t come here if you are in a rush.
There’s consistently only one human being working a cash register with 15-20 ppl needing to check out. They’re expecting us to do the work ourselves by using self-checkout. I am not employed by GE to operate a cash register. In fact, I am a cashier myself and this is my day OFF. Prices keep going up even though you’re cutting huge costs by making the general public work for you, for free. Pay ppl to work. This is unacceptable.
Obviously a great store. Great selections, deli, bakery. Can be pricey but definitely a good change of pace from Walmart.
