Gigi's Cupcakes at Brier Creek, Raleigh

This cupcake shop completely exceeded my expectations. The Carrot Cake cupcake was moist, flavorful, and perfectly spiced, with a cream cheese frosting that balanced sweetness and tang just right. The S’mores cupcake was just as impressive—soft, chocolatey, and topped with a delicious marshmallow frosting that tasted like a campfire treat. The graham cracker crumble added the perfect crunch and tied all the flavors together. If you enjoy rich, seasonal flavors, this is definitely a great place to stop by. Highly recommended

I stopped in with a craving for something guests sweet. I decided to try a chocolate cupcake and a strawberry shortcake cupcake. The guy that helped me seemed a bit confused by which flavor had which ingredients a bit so I decided to stick with what I knew. Both cupcakes were delicious. I would revisit if I ha e a hankering for a cupcake.

They looked pretty, but unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. I ordered three cupcakes (lemon, chocolate chip, and s'mores)and one cheesecake (via Uber Eats). All of the cupcakes were extremely dry & crumbly. The lemon had nearly zero lemon flavor including the neon yellow icing which is not how it looked in the photos. None of the icings tasted as though they had any natural flavors in them. And to my shock and dismay, the cheesecake had a heaping amount of buttercream frosting on top. I won't be trying trying these again.

Highly recommended. Gigi's is absolute go-to for a special treat! The cupcakes are incredibly moist and the frosting is rich, creamy, and beautifully piped. I especially loved the double Choclate chip and Strawberry ShortCake and the seasonal S’mores flavors—they never disappoint.
