We ordered the boneless fried chicken, egg pancakes, avocado vegan sushi, and a noodle entrée. The best item was the boneless fried chicken, which we had in the honey garlic sauce that was entirely mild with no heat. Next time, we might want to do a spicy sauce. The avocado vegan sushi was also very good. I would recommend getting this item, even if you’re not vegan, so that you can have more fresh vegetables. The seaweed wrap was very tasty and almost fragrant I would say. The noodle entrée was the least appetizing of everything that we ordered. I did appreciate that I could order from the menu on the touchscreen and didn’t have to have sitdown service. I would assume that most of the business here is take away and not any kind of dining on the sidewalk.

The neighborhood where this place is located is not the safest, but when it comes to food, it is definitely worth a visit. The food is excellent: fresh ingredients, everything cooked with care and attention to detail. We tried the bibimbap: a classic mix of vegetables, meat, and a perfectly fried egg on top. The balance of flavors and textures was spot on. The shrimp fried rice was also great: aromatic, fluffy, and not greasy. The side dishes were impressive too: crispy rolls, nicely spiced sauce, and hot, flavorful soup. Portions are generous and everything is presented neatly. You can tell the kitchen here is made for people, not just to tick a box. If all you care about is food, this is an excellent spot. If the neighborhood worries you, getting takeout is a smart option.

Good food, first time around the lady in front was sweet and helpful. Second time there was a gentleman that didn’t speak English. He led it to the kiosk; but be aware… they will charge you more on the kiosk for the food. Order directly or you’ll be charged extra on the kiosk. Food was awesome though.

A nice surprise for this neighborhood that's partly industrial, adjacent to Queensbridge housing, and near random hotels. While we found ourselves at the DoubleTree, Gimbap Story was a nice option for last minute dinner on our way back to the hotel. Spicy Tuna kimbap was tasty and sufficiently spicy. Included the usual instant miso soup. Their fried mandoo we're crispy and delicious. Ordering was quick and easy. They have limited seating there but takeout was convenient for our hotel nearby. Definitely recommend

This is more a take-out place. The Kimbap was really good—bonus points for not using so much rice like many other places do. The kimchi pancake was also good, though suggest to eat it asap to retain the crispiness.
