Gino's Italian Restaurant

We came in at around 730, an hour before close. We were greeted and seated immediately. It wasn't too busy, but we hadn't realized it was because they were about to close. Our waitress was wonderful. She was polite, quick, personable, and overall a joy to interact with. The food was okay. The bread sticks themselves were a little bland, but with the Mariana they were great. The garlic butter was needs more garlic (I like garlic). I ordered chicken deavola and my husband ordered baked spaghetti and meatballs. My chicken deavola was quite good, not too spicy and a lot of vegetables. The baked spaghetti and meatballs was exactly as described, it was good. We got a piece of the 7 layers sin cake to go. Food is always amazing here. However, staff was extremely rude. Ignored our table most the time. My sister ordered a drink and it was made wrong and when she decided to say something staff made her feel awful for “wasting” the drink. It was also my husband birthday but due to just being ignored most the time decided not to mention anything. I’d suggest maybe just taking an order to go…

This place is a must stop when near Fond Du Lac. This time I ordered the Chicken Diavola and it was superb. The portion was almost too big but it was too good to let any go to waste. The server was great and checked in at the right times to make sure we had everything we wanted.

Brought my father to enjoy the restaurant for the first time. The service was slow but typical for a Friday evening, more than likely. The food was decent besides the 2nd to last bite… a broken part of a plastic straw was in the dish. Ickkk! Our waitress brought it forward to the management’s attention & the resolution was to take $5 off the meal. Not impressed. On our way out, the hostess inquired about how our experience was & we’re apologetic but obviously no further action.

The pizza and pasta dishes are 10 out of 10. We have been going here for years. As a local I highly recommend you try this restaurant
