This was a hit! The pizza I would say is not like NYC pizza as it was not as greasy; however, delicious, very tasty and flavorful. The salad was very fresh and crispy, which was unexpected since it was so late in the evening. The service was very friendly and welcoming, thank you.
The food is good. Coming from Philly its hard to find good pizza around here. There's only 1 other spot in Myrtle Beach that even competes in my opinion. My only gripe is they dont deliver. I called once for a delivery and they told me to order thru slice so I did. My advice don't. I ordered like 2 cheesesteaks and 3 slices of pizza and was charged $60+ dollars in total. Using slice was a horrible recommendation! I literally live like less than a mile from Gino's and slice charged me like $30 to deliver it. The atmosphere is typical pizza parlor. Tables, chairs, soda machine. What more would you need?
Strange sauce on the hot wings I ordered. Watered down looking very sour, very oily not very consistent, not at all like a buffalo sauce. I love your guys food but you need to get a actual sauce that doesn't make people sick. 40 mins later I got sick. I mean the wings were cooked beautifully and juicy not pink, but that sauce ruined it. Someone should look into that wing sauce. Just really strange color consistency and taste. Like a mechanic made the wings and not a cook.
When visiting family they recommended Gino's as their favorite pizza spot and overall they make a good pie. Sauce, cheese, seasoning was on point but the crust was a little thicker than I prefer for NY style. I feel like they make it thicker to appeal to a southern audience that prefers American chain style pizza. We placed the order to go and got there 5 minutes before we were told to and everything was ready (which is a good thing) but the problem is they put my Dad's Italian sub on top of the oven with other to-go orders and the lettuce wilted.
I ordered a calzone well done, as a previous one, had unmelted cheese inside. Well same last night, the mozzarella cheese was not melted, it was still in cold strips and the bottom was not even completely cooked. Will not be ordering here again. Sorry, I paid for something I feel, was not what I ordered. This could be a Health issue as it was not completely cooked.
