Girl in the Park

Everything here is made from scratch and it shows. We both had burgers that were good, but didn't blow us away. I had the jalapeno popper burger and the cheese sauce they put on it overpowered everything else so that was the only flavor. My partner tried the dirty south burger and enjoyed it, but said the BBQ sauce was only ok. We shared the cheese curds and really enjoyed the breading but the flavor was weak and they were a bit greasy. I had a cup of the chili and it wasn't bad but I also wouldn't call it great, it was thin and mostly tomato chunks. Overall it was a pleasant experience, our server was really friendly but we only saw her twice before the check came because she seemed to be doing half the restaurant by herself. Everything, including the bathrooms, was clean and well taken

Nice restaurant and bar. Service was very attentive. The Chicken Parmesan sandwich was good but chicken was cooked to hard which made it a challenge. The lamb sliders were also a tad dry, not enough sauce. Plenty of whisky and beer choice. Also great lunch deal.

This was the first time I went here. I went there on a Tuesday around 1:30 pm, which was a good time to go, because it wasn't crowded. I was thrilled by their variety of gluten free options. We weren't too hungry, so we split the chicken kabobs. I wasn't expecting the quality and taste to be so good, but it honestly was sooo delicious! It was also reasonably priced, considering it comes with a small soup or salad and came with a lot of broccoli and rice, for $26. I get so frustrated when I eat out hoping for veggies to come with my order, and then get 3 small pieces of broccoli, with a lot of fillers veggies like onions and peppers - this was the amount of veggies I would expect to go with two large skewers of Kabobs. What a great place, great food, great vibe. I came on a Friday night to try the fish fry, which has been getting great reviews and I even live an hour away. But instead going Catholic and eating fish... I got the Reuben because they make their corned beef in house. It is out of this world. Looks like they welcome dog guests on their patio, so I may have to make a return trip for one of their burgers.

Enjoyed my dinner here. The service was decent and the atmosphere contemporary. I would go back to try other menu items, but I feel at $28 for my burger is a little much. Although unique, for the price I was expecting something different than other burgers elsewhere and feel it fell short! My burger of choice was Mack-n-My Buns. Other members of my party did enjoy their Ultimate Parmesan Sandwich.
