Giuseppes Restaurant and Pizzeria on Shadow Ridge Road

One might think Guiseppes is another vacation resort restaurant serving small portions of overpriced food. At least that's what we expected. It's quite the opposite. Recently reopened as Guiseppes, the restaurant is independent from the resort and as such, the food is quite good, portions are quite large and the prices are definitely reasonable. The deep dish pizza we ordered was stuffed to the brim and well made. We only ate a third of it before taking it to go. Another good option is to order the sides, as many as you can. At $5 each the portions are perhaps overly generous and gives you a chance to sample various items from the kitchen. We found the meatballs to be particularly delicious. We sat on the deck with a beautiful view of Shadow Ridge Golf Course. We were there for lunch and it wasn't too crowded. There are lots of tables both inside and outside. My wife had the vodka sauce noodles with crumbled Italian sausage. She said it was very good. I had the Italian sausage and peppers sandwich. It was good, but the fries came cold and undercooked. They made up for it by bringing a side of pasta salad, which also was good. The service was excellent and the restaurant was very clean.

Our server, Summer, was great! Super knowledgeable about the menu and gave us great recommendations! Eggplant parm, chicken piccata, and meat lasagna was a huge hit! We also love having a restaurant on the Marriott property. Will definitely come back!

Giuseppe’s Restaurant & Pizzeria is an absolute gem and one of our favorite dining spots in the area. The deep dish pizza is incredible — rich, hearty, and packed with flavor. One bite honestly transports you straight to Chicago. It’s perfectly baked, loaded with toppings, and worth every minute of the wait. We also ordered several other dishes and were blown away. The house salad was fresh and well-balanced, the calamari was crispy and delicious, and the spaghetti and meatballs was a huge hit — even the kids loved it and cleaned their plates, which says a lot. The prices are very fair for the quality and portion sizes, and the food came out quickly, which made the experience even better. Great pizza. We ordered a large two topping hand tossed pizza for three adults. It was plenty, we had a little less than half left over. Plentiful toppings. Crust was very reminiscent of our time in Naples - if you know you know. Highly recommend it. Unfortunately we started eating before I got a picture.
