GO FISH POKE - LAS COLINAS

I’ve been a regular customer of Go Fish Poke Las Colinas — their food has always been delicious, and I’ve ordered both in-store and to-go many times. But on Oct 13, 2025, I found a fly in my poke bowl after eating most of it. This has been the craziest and most disgusting experience I’ve ever had with food. I called the restaurant that night — the guy apologized but didn’t do anything to make it right. I would never expect this to happen from a place I actually liked and trusted. I’ve already reported this to the Texas Department of State Health Services because it’s extremely unsanitary and unacceptable. I also added photos of what I found — please view at your own discretion, as they may be sensitive to look at.

Tried a poke bowl for the first time here. I went with one of their pre set poke bowls. Pleasantly surprised with the amount of fish that they gave me. Overall the taste was just okay. I think I’ll blame it on the combination of toppings/sauce just didn’t blend well in my opinion. Pricing was pretty reasonable. I think if I go back I’ll choose my own blend of toppings. Also tried the calamari as an appetizer and thought that was quite good. Light, but very crispy and well seasoned batter.

Refreshing after we’d been eating “heavy” at local restaurants all weekend! Fast and friendly service, indoor or outdoor seating. The crab in the California roll was crab salad or something, not whole pieces of crab, which was not my fave. The spring rolls were crispy and full of flavor! It’s nice that they have paper menus and pencils where you can mark everything you want in your poke bowl - makes it easy to order.

Delicious poke- the fish tasted super fresh and tons of options. I got Scottish salmon and scallops- it was delicious! Also the portion sizes are incredibly generous and great prices for the quality!
