GOGI Korean Steakhouse & Sushi

A Tasty Food Story: We had such a great experience at Gogi! From the moment we walked in, the staff were so welcoming and attentive. The menu has so many amazing options that it was hard to choose, but we started with the bao pork buns, egg soufflé, and Korean glass noodles. Everything was delicious, but the glass noodles were definitely a standout favorite. We tried the Chef’s Feast for Two, which came with lamb chops, filet mignon, lobster, and galbi. We love KBBQ, and this lineup felt both unique and indulgent. Our server cooked everything to perfection tender, flavorful, and so well-seasoned. Gogi is such a beautiful spot in Westport. We enjoyed a round of margaritas, a beer, and a variety of things, including roasted pork buns, chicken wings, pork belly, and bulgogi. While the pork buns didn’t quite hit the spot for us, every other dish was excellent. The chicken wings were especially comforting!! Crispy, flavorful, and reminiscent of a home cooked meal. The banchan was really good with sauces that perfectly complemented the entrées. Unlike some Korean BBQ restaurants where you cook the meat yourself, Gogi prepares it for you. Both the pork belly and bulgogi were super fresh. Overall, a fantastic experience. I’d absolutely recommend Gogi and am already looking forward to my next visit!!!

What a phenomenal find. Away from Korean barbecue because of having to cook it themselves, this is your spot. Not only does this spot have some of the best quality ingredients that we’ve seen, but they also make sure to professionally cook it at your table. We got an assortment of appetizers as well. One of our favorites was the spicy rice cakes that had squid and shrimp. This is definitely a nice dinner out with an amazing space and amazing staff.

Heard great things about this restaurant from friends and family, so I decided to book a reservation with my wife for our anniversary. The location is quiet and peaceful, and the atmosphere inside is welcoming and warm. The staff were excellent, Simon took great care of us throughout the night. We tried a lot of new flavors and everything was delicious. You can tell they genuinely care about the experience here, it’s not just business to them. Overall, an amazing dining experience and one we’ll definitely remember.

Went here with my bf for our 3 year anniversary. Great food and service. Our waiter was very attentive and the quality of the meat in the butcher set was top tier. I had the tropical margarita and it was great! The quality of wagyu was excellent. Will definitely be back!
