Gold Bunny Donut - Montgomery Mall

Tried many donut shops, but this one is my favorite so far. The donuts are very fresh, not greasy at all, and new batches come out often. There’s a nice variety of flavors, and everything I’ve tried has been good. I’ve noticed that the crème brûlée donut seems to be the most popular choice ... it’s what I see people buying the most. The store is clean and you can tell they really care about quality. I’ve already been back several times and will definitely keep coming back.

The donuts here offer genuinely original flavour combinations, and presentation-wise they look the part — vibrant, creative, and clearly made with some care. Taste-wise, they’re good; not life-changing, but enjoyable enough to satisfy a craving for something a little different from the usual offerings. That said, the pricing sits firmly at the premium end of the spectrum, which means this is firmly an occasional treat rather than a regular stop for us. That’s fine — plenty of specialty food spots command a higher price point, and we’re happy to pay it when the overall experience justifies it. Unfortunately, the experience here is let down by the staff, who seem to carry a noticeably passive-aggressive attitude — something that became particularly apparent when we didn’t tip at checkout.

The donuts here are SO good — this place is an absolute must-try! My personal favorites are the Banana Pudding and Pistachio, but honestly… the Dubai donut is on another level. It’s insane 😭 I could eat it every single day. I’m genuinely so happy to have a donut shop this delicious so close to me. The staff are incredibly friendly. Why is the bunny packaging this cute? It looks exactly like a Jellycat bunny! I’m definitely coming back tomorrow to try the Crème Brûlée — I already can’t wait 🤍🍩

The donuts are overall great! Not too sweet compared to places like dunkin or Krispy Kreme. I personally don’t even like donuts but these drew me in!! The crème brûlée donut 10/10: great crunchy outside and a semi sweet crème inside The ube donut 8/10: not to sweet and not too shock of the taste buds The chuckle crème 10/10: simple, full of cream and perfect balance The biscoff 10/10: gives the perfect donut cookie vibe. I definitely want to try all the flavors, just wish they had better pricing for multiple donuts, and an easier reward program to use.

We tried the vanilla custard, matcha, ube taro, and early grey. My husband and I love Knotted (donut shop in Korea) and expected a similar taste. The donut texture wasn't as fluffy and light, but it still tasted great! The filling was delicious, and they tasted even better after some time in the fridge. Our favorite was the ube taro! Great service and such cute packaging! Definitely worth trying.
