Golden Chick

For lunch we stopped in for a catfish plate and tenders meal. Our very informative employee let me know the fish would take approximately seven minutes to cook, not a problem as this ment fresh hot fish. As we waited for our meals I could see that the restaurant was very clean, smelled pleasant and the temperature was comfortable being that it is rainy and cold today. When our order was ready the food was hot, fresh, and tasty. The only complaint would be that the fish filets were more like very small strips. Over all we will definitely return.

1/26/26 I understand people are upset they have to work due to weather conditions with this ice. But no reason why the gravy should be NASTY & WATERYYYYYY!!!! They refused to remake. And on top of that that lady wanted to charge me for another gravy…

Ordered on website and picked up in drive thru. Worker was nice and friendly. Food was pretty good. Portion sizes were a bit on the smaller side but they were flavorful. Funnel cake was great. Overall was a pretty decent experience. About $10 or so for combos so almost average pricing. Will go again 2nd trip... not as pleasant customer service. Ordered online. Went thru drive thru to pick up and was told to pull to front for order. Waited 20+ minutes and had to drive back around back thru drive thru. Food was just sitting there. Male employees were not friendly and did not apologize for their error. And had no condiments when I got home 😡

I had to give it 1 star in order to post...definitely a NEGATIVE star!!!!1-16-26, a coworker went to grab lunch for us during a less than 30 minute lunch break. She spent about 15 minutes waiting for the order only to return to work with the order filled wrong. She read the order off her phone to the worker and they still got the order wrong. She called after work to let them know the order was wrong, only to be talked to rudely by one of the workers who went on to hang up the phone in her face. I personally will NOT spend ANY more money here.

Every single time I have had great service! Very nice staff that get you taken care of quickly. The food is great, I love that you can substitute your drink for a second side which is great if you want a little more for your buck and your eating at home where you have drinks you want. Ordering on the app is easy and helpful when it take you a minute for everyone to decide what they want and saves you some time waiting in line even though outside of the app I have never waited more then 3 minutes. 10 outta 10
