Golden Chick

Came to try the fish dinner. Went through the drive thru was a little line. No big deal. Especially when you get to order and they take your order in a decent time. Then the wait for the food was not long. We got home and the food was so delicious 😋 the jalapeno poppers are always a must for us. But this time I tried the salad and it was so fresh and delicious 🤤 thanks for all that you all do. It's greatly appreciated

Shrimp is back baby. There's some things I miss from Golden Chick and that's when shrimp is gone most of the year. This beautiful shrimp meals are the best thing Golden Chick puts out as a occasional item. They have a 20 piece with no combo for 14.99 A 10-piece with a combo A. Six-piece combo And three- peace On top of that they also have their spicy version which is really good. It's just a dry powder added on top from packets. Paired with sweet tea and those rolls. Me and my wife eat about 30 shrimp. It's one of my favorite things to get. I love it when they come around and I hate when they leave. If you get a chance, do you stop at Golden Chicken? Get the shrimp try it

It's the season for their shrimp plate. I get it with the 2 sides and no drink option and take it home to eat. Their Cole slaw is the best around-- not too much mayo or dressing. If you dine in, you can get a soft, self-serve cone.

Probably the worst/most disappointing experience we’ve had at this location. Ordered a two piece fried chicken, took it back the first time because it looked old, burnt, and yellow. When they gave it back to us with the new chicken, it looked the same. The skin peeled right off and was soaked in grease. Took it back the second time and explained, they have us two more pieces of chicken and told us to let us know how it turned out. When we got this one back, it looked the same, probably even worse. It was as if they took a raw chicken wing and over fried, because that’s how flimsy it was. It was not firm at all. It looked like they used old chicken, but they claimed they just switched oils and it always looked like that. Yeah right. We were just there a week ago and it was the crispiest

I've been eating at Golden Chick for over 10 years and I have always received delicious food and service. All that time I always chose chicken tenders, mashed potatoes and okra. Today I tried the catfish and wow, this is my new go to! Cornmeal batter was great
